GREETER VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED FOR THE ORC 2025!
The ORC 2025 is fast approaching, kicking off on March 14, 2025 …
The theme this year is “A New Happiness”, and we are looking for big-hearted volunteer superstars to help us turn up the friendliness… and showcase what “A New Happiness” really looks like!
In addition to onsite registers, onsite pre-registration badge distributors and cashiers, we are especially looking for GREETERS!
I am certain that I can speak for the whole of the all the ORC committees when I say that the volunteers who join us in helping the conferences held year after year are the life blood that make each ORC experience fantastic and a helps ground us in our recovery.
Here are the volunteer descriptions and shift times
Greeters (All checkbox time slots below are needed)
To welcome attendees warmly and with a smile… and direct them to registration, the meeting rooms and where to find coffee
Volunteer times for Pre-reg, Reg and Cashiers are only needed while onsite registration is open.
Friday, March 14th, 11am – 9pm
Saturday, March 15th, 8am – 5pm

Preregistration Badge Pickup: Volunteer Opportunities have been fulfilled. Thank You.
To hand out badges, badge holders and printed ORC programs to attendees who have pre-registered on-line.
Registrars: Volunteer Opportunities have been fulfilled. Thank You.
To provide On-site registration by entering attendee’s name, group they belong to, and whether A.A., Al-Anon, Alateen or guest. Attendee is then directed to Cashier for payment. Basic keyboarding skills are all that is required!
Cashiers – Volunteer Opportunities have been fulfilled. Thank You.
To take payment by Credit/Debit card or Cash. Once paid, attendees will be provided with their badge, badge holder and printed ORC program.
Volunteering involves a two-hour commitment to a shift on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Be sure to complete your conference registration first. . . only registered attendees can volunteer! Job training will be provided!

Being a GREETER is a great opportunity to make friends, make a difference, and enhance your ORC experience with the Power of giving back. Plus each shift is only 2 hours long, so it doesn’t take a lot of time.
